WHY WAS WE CARE ACT FORMED? We Care Act is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This program began when the deadly earthquake of Sichuan, China rocked the world of thousands of people. The founders realized that there are numerous needs that must be met after a natural disaster, and so they created a program to help out the victims of this disaster. Since then, We Care Act has grown significantly and no longer limits its volunteer opportunities to only disaster relief. In 2012, We Care Act received a grant from the government to begin another chapter of their club elsewhere. Thus, the We Care Student Organizations were formed.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES US FROM OTHER VOLUNTEER SERVICE CLUBS? As an organization run predominantly by youth volunteers, we strive to utilize our talents and passions in helping less fortunate. We connect to children in need around the world by sending disaster relief supplies, funding schools, writing Pen Pal letters, and more. Children are the future. We are the future. Thus, to make life in the future better, we must first make the life of children better. Starting now.
